Spring 1998

Welcome to my garden!

It's been a wet winter
but the reward is
an abundance of flowers.

Here's a view from our driveway looking
across the foxglove and Lemon Gems,
up to the second fairway of the
Monterey Peninsula Country Club course.

This is a shot from the corner
looking towards the house.

Foxglove Corner

Foxglove loves the sunny days
we've been having.

Coming around from the backyard,
this path leads back to the front door.

Here's the long view across the front.
The groundcover has thousands of
tiny blue flowers.

The Customs Road side has filled in
with Lavender, Lemon Gems, Foxglove,
Lantana and Australian Tea.

The French and English Lavender are doing
great in the back on the sunny side of the
house under my office window.

Even the back yard is starting to shape up.
The hard rains flooded the lawn and back
corner but everything's drying out and
coming back.

What used to be concrete is now grass
and a nice path keeps the mud down.
